1. Purpose

These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the LearnEsoteric online learning platform, available at learnesoteric.com. The platform offers themed courses on classical Western esotericism (astrology, tarot, numerology, magnetism), as well as an AI pedagogical assistant named Tina.

2. Access to the service

The service is available:

• Free of charge: the first lesson of each course is accessible without registration.
• Paid access: all lessons of a course are unlocked after purchase (€49 per course or €249 for the complete pack).

By using the service, you confirm that you are at least 16 years old. To make a purchase, you must be 18 or over (or have a legal guardian's consent).

3. Nature of the service

4. Tina — AI Assistant

Each course includes Tina, a pedagogical AI assistant powered by the Google Gemini API, specialised in the doctrine of the relevant course. Tina's responses are automatically generated and for educational purposes only. They do not replace expert human advice.

5. User obligations

Users agree to:

• Not share, resell or redistribute purchased content.
• Not attempt to bypass access control mechanisms.
• Use the service solely for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Not submit to Tina any unlawful, hateful or third-party-infringing content.

6. Availability

The publisher strives to ensure platform availability 24/7, without being able to guarantee this absolutely. Temporary interruptions due to maintenance or third-party providers (Google Gemini, PayPal, Infomaniak) may occur.

7. Intellectual property

Purchasing a course grants a personal, non-transferable right of access to the content. No ownership of the content is transferred to the buyer.

8. Modifications

The publisher reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Belgian law. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Liège (Belgium).

• Individual course — lifetime access to all lessons of one thematic course: €49 incl. VAT
• Complete Pack (7 courses) — lifetime access to all 7 platform modules: €249 incl. VAT

• Currency: Euro (EUR)
• Payment methods: PayPal account or credit card via PayPal
• Delivery: immediate digital access upon payment confirmation

3. Order confirmation

Access to content is activated upon confirmation by PayPal. No LearnEsoteric account creation is required. A PayPal confirmation email will be sent to the address linked to your PayPal account.

As a quality commitment, if you are unsatisfied within 7 days of purchase and have consulted no more than 2 lessons, you may request a refund at contact@learnesoteric.com. Response time: 48 business hours.

7. Mediation

If a dispute cannot be resolved directly, consumers may contact the Belgian mediation service via the SPF Economy — Mediation Service or the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.

2. Data collected

LearnEsoteric collects minimal data:

• Payment: your email is processed by PayPal to issue confirmation. We never receive or store any banking or card data.
• Messages to Tina: your exchanges are transmitted to the Google Gemini API to generate responses. They are not retained on our servers after the session.
• Browsing preferences: chosen language and course progress — stored locally in your browser (localStorage), never transmitted.
• Access data: IP address and pages visited, for security and anonymous statistics only.

3. Purposes of processing

• Delivering access to purchased content
• Generating Tina's pedagogical responses (Google Gemini API)
• Anonymous usage statistics
• Security and abuse prevention

4. Legal basis

• Contract performance (payment processing and access delivery)
• Legitimate interest (security, anonymous statistics)
• Consent (messages voluntarily sent to Tina)

5. Data sharing

Messages to Tina are transmitted to Google LLC (Google Gemini API). Payments are processed by PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A., subject to their own GDPR policies.

No other data is shared with third parties or sold.

6. Retention

• Preference data: stored in your browser, entirely under your control.
• Payment data: retained by PayPal under their legal obligations. We store no card or banking information.
• Security logs: retained for a maximum of 30 days, then deleted.

7. Your rights (GDPR)

Under EU Regulation 2016/679, you have the following rights:

• Right of access, rectification and erasure
• Right to data portability
• Right to object and to restriction of processing
